Taj Pamodzi Hotel in Lusaka has allegedly been placed under lockdown as a way to contain Covid-19.
A check by Diamond News this evening found the premises almost deserted.
Sources have disclosed that the few remaining quests are only staying up to tomorrow, Thursday.
Management say, a comprehensive statement over the development will be issued later.
The hotel has over 250 workers who will now be sent home until further notice.
