Zambia striker Emmanuel Mayuka set for a Southampton exit after flopping in his first season in England.
The 22-year-old Zambia striker has failed to make an impact at Southampton after his Euro 4 million move from Swiss club Young Boys last August.
According to mirror.co.uk, Mayuka is one of 15 players Southampton coach Mauricio Pochettino plans to offload at the end of the 2012/2013 Premiership season.
Mayuka joins fellow strikers Billy Sharp and Tadanari Lee of Japan who both arrived at Southampton in January, 2012 and who are currently loaned out to Nottingham Forest and FC Tokyo respectively.
The Zambia striker has played just eight games for Southampton since moving from Young Boys but has yet to score for his new club.
Pochettino had stated earlier this month that Mayuka needed to work very hard to impress him.
Mayuka has only played two minutes as a late substitute under the Argentine since the coach took charge at Southampton in January.
The 2012 Africa Cup of Nations golden boot winner has failed to replicate his form in Switzerland where he scored 20 goals in 90 league games during his three seasons at Young Boys.
Mayuka is also struggling to make an impact with Zambia after scoring three goals at the Gabon and Equatorial Guinea finals and flopped in South Africa where the 2012 champions exited in the group stage.
