Battle Cry for Zambia(BCZ), a Christian organization has embarked on a 40(forty) days of Prayer and Fasting to petition God to come through for many challenges the country is engulfed in.
The Prayer and Fasting exercise which started on 1st July this year will proceed up to 9th August 2020.
BCZ Founder Apostle Obrian Mayambu said Praying and Fasting was a way of requesting God to help strengthen the Christian morals and values within the nation and addressing any challenge affecting the nation.
Apostle Dr. Obrian Mayambu said as a Christian Nation, Zambians should whenever faced with challenges, run to God because He is the country’s strong tower.

“It is about time all Zambians united and Prayed for our Great nation to seek God’s face to help us in every challenge we are facing as a nation. We need to be like the Israelites… whenever these great people were faced with challenges, they always turned to God as the only source of help. Even us (today), we need to turn and look to the Almighty God as our pillar in this Christian Nation,” he said.
Apostle Dr. Mayambu said during the Prayer and Fasting period, CBZ will stand on the scripture of 2 Chronicles 7 versus 14 which states that: “when we humble ourselves and turn back to Him in repentance, He will hear us and heal our land.”
According to the Apostle, some of the Prayer point BCZ is focusing on the 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting are righteousness, protection, love, unity, peace, the economy, corruption, tribalism, restoration of the nation, as well as reconciliation.
“During the same period, we will also stand on Pslam 91 versus 1-8 in the midst of Covid-19, for Divine Protection upon Zambia and its people. We pray that God continues watching over Zambia and everything will be well.
