President Edgar Lungu’s recent tour of duty to check on developmental projects in Western Province underscores his resolve and commitment to improve Zambians’ welfare.
Zambian DNA salutes the people of Western Province for according President Lungu a thunderous welcome during his recent visit to that Province,a situation that depicts their willingness to work with Government.
We also commend President Lungu and his Government for scaling up the Social Cash Transfer Scheme in that Province and other parts of the country in an effort to increase the number of beneficiaries and improve the vulnerable people’s welfare in our society.
It’s gratifying to note how the PF Government under the stewardship of President Lungu is not only determined to take development to all parts of the country,ensure that each of the ten Provinces get its fair share of the national cake,but also making great strides in improving the livelihood of the youths through enhanced multi-purpose and multi-million Kwacha empowerment initiatives.
In view of the foregoing,we urge the Zambian people to support President Lungu as he strives to improve their welfare despite the COVID-19 pandemic-triggered social and economic challenges the country is grappling with.
