United Party for National Development (UPND) Bweengwa Member of Parliament Highvie Hamududu has castigated fellow members of parliament for failing to address the many challenges people in their respective constituencies are facing.
Mr. Hamududu says parliamentarians have no doubt failed the people in so many ways.
He says his experience as a member of parliament for two terms has made him realize that the people have been let down by their parliamentarians.
He says there is also a need to have Ministers who are well-informed on matters that are affecting the nation.
Mr. Hamududu says Zambian MPs must adopt the spirit that other developing nations have.
He says it is sad to see other countries develop at a fast pace while Zambia which has vast natural resources continue to develop at a worrying pace.
Mr. Hamududu says Parliamentarians should have enough time to sit down with people so as to understand the challenges they are going through instead of concentrating on enriching their pockets.
