Chieftainess Mungule of the Lenje people in Chibombo district, Central Province, has summoned Chiefs and Traditional Affairs Minister Nkandu Luo and Commerce and Trade Minister Emmanuel Chendato apologise to the local people for allegedly interfering with running of the chiefdom.
ChieftainessMungule told Muvi TV News in the presence of over 20 headmen at the palace that the ministers did not follow proper procedure during their visit to the Palace on 8th August 2013.
The two ministers who denied any involvement in the issue are said to have gone to chieftainessMungule’s palace to demand among other things the removal of Headman Mupwaya as chairperson of the chieftainess advisory committee.
