Power Dynamos will refund Gor Mahia US$3800 midfielder Julius Situmbeko allegedly got from his botched move to the Kenyan champions.

Situmbeko is alleged to have signed an illegal contract with Gor Mahia in December during the 2013 Cecafa Cup in Kenya after alleging that he was a free agent when in actual fact he still had a running deal with the Kitwe club.

“We have agreed with Gor that they won’t report the boy to FIFA for double-dealing,” Power club secretary Ricky Mamfunda told MTNFootball.com.

“What we have agreed with them is that we will refund the money the boy is alleged to have collected and then we will deal with the boy from this end administratively.”

Mamfunda said they hoped to clear the issue with Gor Mahia next week.

“And contrary to media statements that it was US$6000 he got, they have given us the actually figure which is coming to somewhere around US$3800,” Mamfunda said.

Meanwhile, Situmbeko has continued to quietly go about his pre-season business at Power since returning from Zambia duty at the Cecafa Cup in Kenya in December.
