I am extremely disappointed with poor Zamtel mobile phone services. I bought their airtime almost a month ago but when I tried to enter the numbers, I received a message that ‘A problem occurred during the refill. Please contact your customer care service.’
I have been calling Zamtel customer care service everyday but I have never been answered. Just yesterday, I went to Levy Junction Zamtel outlet but a pot-bellied man just told me ‘The system is down, there is nothing we can do to help. Just keep the card,’ and he looked away.
I walked out of the outlet feeling disgusted and regretted having been on the Zamtel network. What kind of service is this? Simply put it is ‘pathetic.’ Pull up your socks Zamtel!
Although other networks [Airtel and MTN] have their areas of incompetence, at least their customer care services are accessible at all times, and their officers know how to respond to customer complaints. Why can’t Zamtel do the same for God’s sake?
I have been subjected to be moving with a scratch card for about a month now and I am going to sue Zamtel next week to teach them a lesson so that they can improve on their shoddy services.
