The easiest way you can tell that UPND and HH have no plan for Zambia and they are not ready to take over from PF:
1. The only thing HH/UPND do is criticise and antagonise PF. All they say is PF promised this/that and they haven’t delivered. That’s the only thing HH knows. Now that’s not difficult to do, anyone can criticise.
2. HH/UPND has not outlined how better/different they’ll do things from PF. Again all they say is PF lied.
3. UPND including its supporters have no idea whatsoever how they will deal with the country’s pressing issues like Job Creation. How many have heard HH tell Zambians how he will create jobs? Ask any UPND staunch supporter how the party will create jobs, the answer you get is silence or some nonsensical theory which is not even attainable. They don’t know how to deal with it.
4. It appears UPND’s mainstay is to get POWER at all costs and what to do with that power they have no clue.
As our democracy matures, Zambians are becoming more and more alert and enlightened (especially the urban population), in other words, Kaunda time will never come back, MMD 20 year rule will never repeat itself, Whoever shall promise voters like the PF promised shall be questioned how he or she will deliver since we have seen politicians fail before. Whoever want’s to criticise only and never give solutions shall be taken as just another noise maker. UPND has to make sensible promises if their HH has to kiss state house, because at the moment they just criticise without offering any solutions especially on economic issues. Even a street kid who has never been to school can criticise, so they are not saying anything unique.
