Chipolopolo Boys centre back Stopilla Sunzu scored for Sochaux on Saturday night as Herve Renard’s men beat Lorient 2-0 in a French Ligue 1 match.
And in the Russian top flight, Chisamba Lungu continued to impress for Ural and helped them to a 2-1 win over Tarek on Friday afternoon.
Chisamba played on the right wing and was named the official man of the match after a starring role for Ural as they recorded their second win in as many games since the Russian break resumed.
Back to the French Ligue 1, Renard named Sunzu and Nathan Sinkala in the starting XI and both played the full game while Emmanuel Mayuka was unused substitute.
Sochaux got a dream start when Frenchman Contout put them 1-0 up in the 7th minute and had to wait for the 79th minute when ‘King Sunzu’ popped up with a goal and sealed victory for them. Sunzu has now scored 3 goals since he joined the club in Janaury.
