Former Transport and Communications Minister in the MMD government William Harrington has submitted that Tourism Minister Sylvia Masebo be dropped from her Ministerial position.
In his final submissions ahead of the final recommendations, Mr Harrington has told the Tribunal established to investigate Ms Masebo that the Chongwe Member of Parliament should also vacate her seat in the National Assembly.
He says there was no lawful justification for Ms Masebo to direct the cancellation of the duly awarded tender for granting of hunting concession licenses even if she was instructed by President Michael Sata.
Ms. Masebo was being probed for alleged interference in the operations of the Zambia Wildlife authority-ZAWA with regards to the firing of the top five ZAWA officers and the dissolution of the ZAWA board among other allegations.
