Nelson Mandela is in the hospital, and, for the past five days, reporters in Pretoria, South Africa have been staked out outside a hospital reporting on his condition.
Yesterday, however, they learned they were at the wrong hospital. Oops. According to the Wall Street Journal, the journalists “were told late Thursday by presidency spokesman Mac Maharaj that the former president was at a separate unidentified hospital.”
The mix-up occurred amid rumors that Mandela had died, which his spokesman denied, but neither the family nor the government are disclosing his location.
