A student at Zambia’s highest institution of learning last night took his own life following what his friends say was mounting pressure due to exams.
The student only identified as Radoka Matenga, a second year reading Development Studies from the School of Humanities at the University of Zambia reportedly took his own life using the potent insecticide ‘Doom’.
Those close to him say the deceased had consistently mumbled about being ill-prepared for the University exams although it can not be independently verified what triggered his decision to end his own life.
Less than 3 weeks ago, 6th year medical student was found decomposing in his room at Ridgeway Campus.
But there are others that say there is more to his decision to commit suicide than exams
