The Consumer Unit Trust Society (CUTS) International Zambia has expressed concern over the increasing cases of counterfeit products on the Zambian market.
CUTS Zambia Center Coordinator Chenai Mukumba says counterfeit goods pose health risks on the consumers.
Ms Mukumba says it is important that relevant government agencies ensure that some products are removed from the shelves because of their health complications on the consumers.
She says counterfeit goods are also bad for the economy and hence the need not to allow such products on the market.
