The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia-EFZ-has described as unfortunate the political statement that Senior Chieftainess Nkhomeshya II of the Soli people made during the flagging off of the construction of the ninety one kilometer stretch of Luangwa Bridge Feira road project by President Michael Sata.Senior Chieftains Nkhomeshya who is also House Chiefs Chairperson was also quoted as saying that she will defend her statement that President Sata’s government is delivering its campaign promises if some people would want to describe it as politics.
EFZ Executive Director Pukuta Mwanza has noted that the Senior Chieftainess’ statement does not reflect fairly as there are some people in her chiefdom that have divergent political views.
Rev. Mwanza has noted that traditional leaders in the country ought to harmonize divergent political views amongst people and live above partisan politics.
