Nude photographs purported to be of the singer Rihanna were leaked online last night, weeks after hackers released similar naked images of other Hollywood stars.

The FBI and Apple, the technology company, are investigating after pictures from the personalities’ personal Apple accounts were leaked on Sept 1. The hackers created a list of 101 famous women they intended to post pictures of.

Throughout the weekend, more women on the list had allegedly nude images of them released online.

As well as Rihanna, images were released that were believed to be of Emily Ratajkowski, a British model.

Other alleged victims include Kim Kardashian, a reality television show star, Vanessa Hudgens, an actress, and Aubrey Plaza, an actress and comedienne.

Britons on the list whose images had not been released yesterday included Cat Deeley, a presenter, Kelly Brook, a model, and Michelle Keegan, a Coronation Street actor.

The women affected over the weekend remained largely silent.

Gabrielle Union, an American actress, said she intended to contact the FBI.

In a statement, she said: “I can’t help but to be reminded that since the dawn of time women and children, specifically women of colour, have been victimised, and the power over their own bodies taken from them.

“These atrocities against women and children continue worldwide.”

The FBI and Apple did not respond to requests for a comment.

In a previous statement, Apple said: “When we learnt of the theft, we were outraged and immediately mobilised Apple’s engineers to discover the source.

“Our customers’ privacy and security are of utmost importance to us.

“After more than 40 hours of investigation, we have discovered that certain celebrity accounts were compromised by a very targeted attack on user names, passwords and security questions, a practice that has become all too common on the internet.

“None of the cases we have investigated has resulted from any breach in any of Apple’s systems including iCloud or Find my iPhone.

“We are continuing to work with law enforcement to help identify the criminals involved.”

The FBI said that it was “aware of the allegations concerning computer intrusions and the unlawful release of material involving high-profile individuals, and is addressing the matter.”

“Any further comment would be inappropriate at this time,” a spokesman added.

Lusaka Council Busts Chinese Sex Den

tumfweko photoLusaka City Council health inspectors on Thursday stormed Thabc Guesthouse for allegedly operating as a brothel.

And the council says it will shut down the Chinese-run guesthouse for operating as a brothel.
Thabc Guesthouse, situated in the central business area, has also been operating under the brand name Mama’s Chicken Restaurant.

A team of council public health officials, in the company of council police commandant Paul Chipulu, stormed the premises on Thursday to check on operations at the guesthouse following a tip-off.

The guesthouse consists of 10 rooms and is run by Che Zhong Mey.

The premises operates with valid council certificates of a guesthouse, but without a health permit.

Chipulu and his team went round the premises, knocking on doors, and in the process disturbing some clients.

Some of the clients refused to open their doors upon hearing that council officials had stormed the guesthouse.

Following persistent knocks on Room 9, a man opened to attend to the officials.

“Nabwela kuno na girlfriend wanga elo nalipila che 70 pin. Nalipila short time, three hours chabe, elo tikalibe kuciliza (I came here with my girlfriend, I paid K70 to use the room for three hours, and we haven’t even enjoyed ourselves),” he told the officials.

And another visibly shaken and stammering man from Room 5, who was trying to dispose of used condoms he held in his hand, informed the officials that he was not given a receipt after paying K80 to use the room for about four hours with his partner.

“Our details were not recorded anywhere, we just paid and we were ushered to this room. Our business is done and now we want to go,” he said.

Meanwhile, some couples who were found waiting for occupied rooms to be vacated, abandoned the premises after discovering that the public health and council officials wanted to inspect the premises.

Some workers who were also found at the restaurant and guesthouse also fled, fearing arrest by the officials.

However, one of the employees said rooms were rented out to individuals for up to K80 per three hours and K120 a night.

“We do not offer long-term accommodation here. Our accommodation is on short-term basis – that is per three hours – and now prices for our rooms have been increased from K60 to K70 and K80 depending on the quality of the room,” the worker, who sought anonymity, said.
“If they want to spend a night here, they have to book the rooms around 17:00 hours to 18:00 hours at K120 and there are rooms with double beds.”

A shocked Chipulu and the inspectors expressed displeasure at the unhygienic conditions of the guesthouse.

Chipula said the local authority would not tolerate guesthouses that were putting the lives of many people at risk of contracting diseases.

“Look at this bathtub, look at showers and the toilets, they are just too dirty and one cannot believe that they are being used by human beings. We can also confirm that this is truly a brothel because the customers themselves have confirmed their activities to us,” said Chipulu.

And Mey, who was ordered to meet the officials at the civic centre, pleaded with them not to close the guesthouse, and promised to improve the sanitary conditions.

“Please madam, give me second chance. I do not know that guesthouse is brothel. I didn’t know that,” said Mey.

And Mulunda said brothels were illegal in Zambia, adding that the local authority would soon surrender the matter to the courts of law for Mey to defend himself.

“We have started the documentation process and we will be writing to the owner of the guesthouse on the charge we have levelled against him and the matter will have to go to court especially that there is the operation of a brothel which is illegal,” he said.

He added that the local authority had obtained enough evidence from customers that were using the rooms.

“For us we know that the man was operating a brothel though he is trying to deny this because a lodge to us must be a decent place where people can go to sleep and spend some time without anyone counting hours for you,” said Mulunda. “Anything operating below lodge standards is a brothel and those are things we are contending with, and he is arguing. We will know how to deal with him, and with evidence overwhelming, we are just taking the matter to court.”

The Kitwe High Court has sentenced a 35-year-old soccer coach of Kitwe’s Twatasha to 25 years imprisonment with hard labour for sodomising a 12-year-old boy.
This is in a case in which Victor Mabimbi was charged with an unnatural offence.
It is alleged that Mabimbi, last year in Kitwe, had unlawful carnal knowledge of a child against the order of nature.
Mabimbi denied the charge but Kitwe resident magistrate Maxwell Mainsa convicted and committed him to the High Court for sentencing.
When the matter came up for sentencing last Thursday, Mabimbi, through Legal Aid counsel Mweendalubi Kapukutula, urged the court to be lenient because he is a first offender who has been in custody since last year.
“And during his time in incarceration, he has learnt that crime does not pay. We, therefore, pray to this honourable court that maximum leniency be exercised on the convict,” he said.
He said Mabimbi is married with children and he also looks after his siblings.
Passing the sentence, Kitwe High Court judge-in-charge Catherine Makungu said: “Having heard and considered what has been said in mitigation, I sentence you to 25 years imprisonment with hard labour with effect from the date of your arrest.”
During trial in the subordinate court, the boy narrated that Mabimbi, who was his football coach, sodomised him and later gave him a K5 to buy a drink.
The boy narrated that Mabimbi also warned him not to dare tell anyone that he had sodomised him.
The boy testified that on the material day, Mabimbi called him to his house where he sodomised him.
The boy told the court that he did not allow Mabimbi to sodomise him.

Congolese Prophet Predicts Plenty Of Suffering For TB Joshua

TB-JoshuaA Congolese prophet, Jean-Claude Kibondzi has warned of more suffering to befall Pastor T.B. Joshua & the Synagogue, Church of All Nations.

Kibondzi, who claims to be based in Sweden, said he was sent by God to Joshua.

Read his loony interview with Vanguard below.

You said God revealed things to you. What were they?

T.B Joshua is a messiah. He is not a real human being. He is a special creator from God and it is only God that knows why he chose to use that body. There is likely no man of God who is spiritually endowed. It is only those who are filled with the spirit of God that can understand him and that is why demons tremble when they come close to him. Again, I want to say T.B Joshua is the fulfillment of the promise of God in Mathew 21 verse 42 to 44.

You said God revealed the building collapse to you. Which other revelation has God shown you that has come to pass?

God has shown me many Prophecies like the fall of the Catholic church and the fall of the Pope. I sent these prophecies via mail to SCOAN. I even call the church but nothing tangible has come out of it.

Why did you send it to SCOAN and not the catholic church?

Well, I sent it to SCOAN because I had contact with them and I told some Pastors in Sweden but they did not believe me. I told them about the missing Malaysian airplane but they never listened to me. My Challenge in Sweden is racism.

Have you been able to speak with TB Joshua since Saturday?

No, his security officials were very arrogant. They go as far as pushing and treating you like a dog. They did not want me to talk. I was detained on Sunday around 8am till 9:45pm in a room with no water or food. My family did not know where I was. At 9:45pm, they told me to come back the next day that I will see the man of God. The next day, I was at Gate 5 as agreed. They began to push me here and there and when they saw that some people were attracted to the scene, they carried me into the same room and locked me there. It was when I was released that my wife told me it was someone who saw us when we were walking into the church premises that told her and she began shouting and this led to my release.

Why do you think God sent you instead of somebody close to TB Joshua?

God has sent me to America to empower a man of God. I also got a revelation about President Obama and other pastors in Sweden prayed for him for two weeks.

Have you met TB Joshua in spirit?

I met him in the spirit and in the throne of God.

How?

It takes a spiritual person to understand who this man is. For me, I have to know you in the spirit to confirm whether or not you are a man of God. If TB Joshua were a white man, I believe, we will be paying nothing less than $10,000 to go and visit him. But, here in Nigeria, people don’t believe him and I am giving them another five years and they will know better when this man’s mission will be accomplished.

Are you are saying, he has a mission to be accomplished in five years time and will be taken away like Enorch?

God will take him and everyone will see it. Then, the people will know. But, until then.

Is that a fresh revelation?

It is not like a fresh revelation, but, the consequence of the threatening of his life. He will not be killed but he will suffer.

Are you saying all these to get the man’s attention, perhaps when the story is out, he will call you over?

No, I am not. I spoke with one of the man’s wise men called, “Wise man Daniel and made him understand that he was a prophet of T.B Joshua while I am a prophet of the Almighty God. He apologized immediately because he knew I was not kidding. I told him I will put the power of God to test in his presence so as to know that I am not an ordinary man. God will always rescue TB Joshua from any trouble but I am more concerned of the lives of the people that may perish if no preventive measure is taken. I am not in government but a spiritual leader, and whether people like it or not, I will be going back to my country. I have told God that, this would be my last time in Nigeria and I will not come back.

And what if God sends you to people like Adeboye, Kumuyi among others?

I don’t take a contact of someone I don’t know in the spirit. Many people call themselves men of God but in the real sense they are not. I can’t talk or authenticate someone who I have not met in the spirit.

What will happen if you are not able to see him?

This is my seventh visit to SCOAN and everything God has shown has happened. So, if I can’t get him this time, I will not come back.

The Lusaka Magistrate Court has acquitted Roma Girls Secondary School teacher Daswell Sichilongo who was charged with assaulting the school’s acting Head teacher Sister Emma Chakupalesa.

Senior Principle Magistrate Aridah Chulu acquitted Mr Sichilongo this morning after Sister Chakupalesa withdrew the case following their reconciliation by the church.

Sister Chakupalesa told the Court that she had forgiven Mr Sichilongo.

Mr Sichilongo on 21st July vented her anger on the Catholic Nun by unleashing fists on her after she locked up his house for alleged failure to pay rentals for the institutional house he was occupying.

The action by Mr Sichilongo attracted widespread condemnation especially from the women’s movement at a time when gender based violence is on the increase in the country.

The country has seen a sadden increase in cases of gender based violence with both men and women by perpetrators.

Lucky Mulusa says his defeat in the Solwezi Central by-election is the right ingredient for his political career.

In an interview, Mulusa, who lost the seat on the MMD ticket, said the defeat would help him refocus and take his political career to another level.

“A person of my disposition should be a change agent and this person at times needs personal experiences such as the defeat in Solwezi to act as a trigger event to kickstart a process of change for the betterment of society. To see people I dedicated my work to, people I sacrificed for and loved and whom I made proud, reject me is a message to me that I need to respond by looking at the fundamental weaknesses of our electoral system and economic, social environment in which our electoral system operates,” Mulusa said.

He said his defeat called for more work on his part to assist the nation improve on its governance system.

Mulusa said at the moment, people were becoming representatives of constituencies through manipulation of the voting system, adding that currently, the essence of voting was seriously under question.

He said his taking part in the by-election was meant to enhance society’s welfare by strengthening the governance, economic and electoral systems.

Mulusa said many political parties that took part in the by-election did not observe the electoral code of conduct.

“Many political parties don’t observe the electoral code of conduct but rather become experts at abrogating provisions of the electoral code,” he said.

Mulusa hoped that future elections would afford the citizens their most important opportunity to participate in the governance system by choosing leaders whose capabilities speak back to the challenges in society.

He said there was need to tackle poverty levels and low literacy levels that make voters easily sale their votes.

The Solwezi seat was scooped by UPND’s Dawson Kafwaya.

Man Wounds Wife’s Private Parts, Locks Her Up

The Ndola Local Court has heard how a 51-year-old man of Pamodzi Township wounded his wife’s private parts before locking her up in the house so that she could not report the matter to the police.
Charles Chanda, who divorced his wife last year after 34 years in marriage, is said to have injured Godfridah Chipenge on her private parts and locked her up until she healed to prevent her from reporting the matter to the police.
The two however, managed to divorce although the court heard that Chipenge had continued to confront Chanda who has since married another woman.
This was a case in which Chanda asked the court to restrain Chipenge from coming to his home after they divorced last year saying he had married another woman.
Chanda said despite going separate ways, Chipenge had continued to go to his house and insult him and his new wife without any reason.
He submitted that Chipenge and the couple’s children had not accepted the divorce that was granted by the court as they were still going to insult and beat up his new wife.
Chanda, who denied injuring Chipenge when they were still married, said he was currently paying the K400 monthly as compensation for divorce and asked the Local court to restrain the plaintiff from visiting his home.
However, Chipenge said Chanda had promised to stay with her for rest of his life after convincing her not to report to the police the injury she suffered on her private parts.
Magistrate Sarah Bwalya who was sitting with magistrates Dismus Katampi and Rosemary Muke was shocked to hear about the injury and blamed the tradition of secrecy in marriage for such inhuman behaviour.
“Some traditions are good and some are not good and our young women should not follow them.
“The issue of telling our young women to keep secretes has subjected many to Gender Based Violence. There are a lot of GBV cases involving women which are not reported because of such traditions,” Ms Bwalya said.

President Sata Sacrificed In His State To Open Parliament -Kambwili

President Michael Sata sacrificed last Friday in his state to address the nation and officially open Parliament, says Chishimba Kambwili.

Briefing the press at his residence in Luanshya on Sunday, Kambwili said the people of Zambia could tell that President Sata’s voice was not strong.

“…let me appeal to my big brother Nevers Mumba, that you know as a man of God, you should be the first person to stop being hypocritical. He should not be a hypocrite in public domain. It is the same Nevers Mumba and his friends who were saying ‘we cannot see the President’, that the President is sick and accused the Patriotic Front of all sorts of things.

“The President sacrificed on Friday in his state to come and address the nation and officially open parliament, the same Nevers Mumba says the Patriotic Front should allow the president to rest,” he said in his comments on the MMD president’s advice that the ruling party should allow the Head of State to rest.

“I mean, if this country has to go forward, we should stop being hypocritical…people of Zambia must know that President Sata loves them so much because they saw for themselves that despite the man…the voice was not, ehh, so strong. He still had to sacrifice to come to Parliament and officially open the House. I think what we need from the people of Zambia is encouragement and appreciate the President’s commitment to develop this country, other than start condemning him for coming to Parliament… So let Nevers Mumba not attack Mr Sata because anybody who is going to attack Mr Sata is going to face us the lieutenants because our job is to defend the President and the Constitution of Zambia.”

Kambwili said President Sata stood for the people of Zambia owing to the unprecedented development the country was witnessing in the three years he has been at the helm of government.

Asked to comment on the widespread attacks on him by fellow PF members of parliament and provincial leaders on his alleged presidential ambitions, Kambwili refused to comment on the matter and instead quoted a Bemba adage.

“The only thing I can say is that where I come from in Bemba we say, Uulelila tabamuceba ku kanwa, meaning ‘do not look at the mourner’s mouth’. That’s what I can say, thank you,” he said.

Kambwili called the briefing to comment on the Confederation of African Football’s decision to award the rights to host the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations to Cameroon. Zambia had also been bidding to host the tournament.

CAF further awarded the hosting rights of the 2021 and 2023 editions to Ivory Coast and Guinea respectively.

“I am sure the country will agree with me that this is favouritism of the worst kind that has ever happened in the football circles. Imagine three consecutive AfCONs to be staged in one region. That is West Africa, it is unacceptable. Our bid was perfect, we had put in a lot of work in the bid. We have the infrastructure that is required to host the tournament,” said Kambwili. “But CAF in its own wisdom…because we are aware that most of the people that sit on the CAF executive are from West Africa that they can award three consecutive AfCONs to be staged in that region which is bad for Africa and I can say a dark cloud has befallen the continent of Africa in as far as AfCON is concerned and let me make it very clear that if we had an option, if we had an option as Zambia, the best would have been to pull out of CAF but we have no option because it is the only continental mother body of football. This is extremely unacceptable…One of the reasons they gave in the rejection of our bid is that the AfCON was staged in South Africa just in 2013, but they go ahead to award three consecutive AfCONs to West Africa.”

Kitwe Central Hospital

A suspected Ebola case has been recorded at Kitwe Central Hospital on the Copperbelt.

The patient, a twenty five -year old female, has since been isolated at Garnerton clinic in Kitwe.

But the Copperbelt provincial medical office has ruled out possibilities of the case being Ebola.

Copperbelt Provincial medical officer Consity Mwale said the patient presented signs of Ebola such as coughing, sneezing and vomiting that commenced a month ago indicating that the case is unlikely to be Ebola.

In a statement availed to ZANIS in Kitwe today by the Copperbelt Provincial Medical Office, Dr Mwale also stated that investigations by the medical officers on the patient revealed that the patient also had a history of vomiting blood and passing blood stained stool.

He however stated that the patient did not complain of any fever and had not been in contact with an Ebola patient and had also not traveled to any Ebola affected regions recently.

However, Dr Mwale has said that the patient has since been transferred from Kitwe Central Hospital to the isolation centre at Garnerton clinic.

He described the condition of the patient as stable after being put on antibiotics and fluids treatment.

He also stated that the patient’s blood samples are yet to be tested for Ebola virus.

And Dr Mwale has assured members of the public of protection from Ebola outbreak through the measures that have been instituted by the Ministry of Health and Community Development, Mother and Child Health.

Ebola has broken out in some West African countries where it has killed over a thousand people while in the Democratic Republic of Congo-DRC new cases have also been recorded.

Former Western Province minister Siyoto Kunyanda on Sunday survived electrocution on the Kafue River.
Kunyanda, who is also former works and supply deputy minister in Frederick Chiluba’s government, in an interview said the incident happened when his boat hit into a damaged but active Zesco pylon which has been lying over the Kafue River for some time.
“I was held up in the same position for about eight seconds and was released later because of the strong power current which saturates the water,” he said.
“I was in shock and I am still shaken up to now because I do not know how I survived that accident. I went on the Kafue River to relax in my boat and I was in the company of two of my workers.”
Kunyanda expressed disappointment at Zesco’s failure to remove the pylon which he said was likely to pose a danger and cause loss of life.
“I did not know that there was a pylon and Zesco lines over the river and I do not understand why Zesco has failed to act upon the matter and remove that damaged pylon,” said Kunyanda.

Under 17 Pregnant Girls At Risk Of BP

A clinician  says girls who fall pregnant before the age of 18 years are at a higher risk of suffering induced hypertension (blood pressure) and obstructed labour.
Kalomo district medical officer Kenneth Chibwe said girls, who fall pregnant before their bodies fully mature, are also at risk of suffering from Fistula (an abnormal connection between the bladder and the female genitals).
Dr Chibwe said this in Choma during a workshop organised by Safe Motherhood Giving Life (SMGL), a USAID funded project whose objective is to reduce maternal mortality.
Speaking during a presentation on health effects of child marriages, Dr Chibwe said girls who are forced into marriages are at risk of various complications during pregnancy.
“Children who are forced into early marriages risk facing medical complications when they fall pregnant. A girl who falls pregnant between 13 and 17 years is more likely to experience hypertension in pregnancy or even obstructed labour,” Dr Chibwe said.
He revealed that two girls aged 16-years of Kalomo last year, died after suffering from pregnancy induced hypertension.
Dr Chibwe urged parents not to marry girls at a tender age as child marriages are not only a health hazard but retrogressive to the development of the nation.
“Imagine a 14-year-old child getting pregnant and carrying a fellow child! What time will she (victim) go to school and study?
Let us all put a stop to these child marriages,” he said.
The meeting drew 20 participants from Choma and Pemba districts.
First lady Christine Kaseba recently described child marriage as a national crisis and called for Government to introduce a law that will sternly deal with perpetrators of the vice.

Scott Wonders Why He Doesn’t Act As President

Vice-President Dr Guy Scott says he does not know why President Michael Sata does not appoint him acting president when he leaves the country.

And Vice-President Scott says the constitution has become a professional politician’s subject matter.

Meanwhile, Vice-President Scott says the selling of huge chunks of land by chiefs is giving him sleepless nights.

Speaking at a public discussion forum organised by the Press Freedom Committee of The Post at Southern Sun Hotel, Vice-President Scott hoped that one day, President Sata would wake up in a joyful mood and appoint him acting president.

“It does not make any difference to me. The reality is that if you are the acting president, you are basically Mr Sata’s chola boy which I am anyway. Sitting at the end of the phone so that he can growl at you over the phone from America or wherever he is. It is not a big deal.

Exactly what his reasons are for not appointing me acting president, I don’t know, but it is his prerogative. May be he doesn’t want someone rushing to court and saying ‘but the constitution excludes him because his parents were not born in Zambia’ or something like that. I don’t lose any sleep over that one at all. I don’t think I have one night loss of sleep over that one,” he said.

And Vice-President Scott said chiefs had discovered that if they could bend the rules, they could sale land and become millionaires.

He said chiefs were not the owners of the land because the lands Act was very clear as land was vested in the President and that chiefs were one of the trustees in addition to the councils and the commissioner of lands.

“There is huge land grab going on, people getting land in irregular ways even though the lands Act is very clear. You have to look at one of our neighbours and ask what their situation on land is like and that will keep you awake. Our safety in this country comes from people having the land to feed on, hunt, cultivate. If the situation is not addressed, we shall find our land has been sold to foreigners,” he said.

And Vice-President Scott said the constitution issue had become political.

“The constitution has become a professional politician’s subject. It is a political thing. We are not sincere most of the times because if we were sincere, we would have had the constitution,” he said.

Vice-President Scott said his personal views on the constitution was that it should be given a period of 10 years before it comes into effect so as to give people enough time to make the necessary changes that might be required.

Meanwhile, Vice-President Scott said the PF had experienced a number of challenges in the agriculture sector in the three years the party has been in office.

He said there were a lot of parastatal bodies that considered themselves to be independent of government.

“This issue has not been given the attention it requires. We have nice ililombas set up to do certain jobs but they are not doing it,” Vice-President Scott said.

He said the PF had managed to score a lot of success in areas of construction and the media such as ZNBC, which he said aired a lot of propaganda of good NAZI German quality.
Vice-President Scott also condemned violence against journalists, saying it was not part of the PF policy.

“I am sorry on the barring of journalists from privately-owned media houses during the official opening of Parliament, it should never have been the case,” said Vice-President Scott.

Police in Southern Province have intensified the search for a clergyman alleged to have given holy water suspected to have killed a Zimba man last Tuesday.

Provincial police commissioner, Mary Chikwanda, appealed to members of the public who may know the whereabouts of the purported clergyman believed to have offered 47-year-old Geoffrey Simaubi holy water suspected to have contained a poisonous substance.

Chikwanda, however, said results of the postmortem were not yet out but police were on the ground to bring to book the alleged clergyman of a named church.

On Tuesday last week, a pastor identified as Peter Njobvu allegedly gave holy water to Simaubi of Simwatachela chiefdom in Zimba district who later died.

The deceased was reported to have vomited after allegedly consuming the holy water before he died.

During his sermon conducted in Simwatachela village, Njobvu called for ‘sinners’ to go forward where he allegedly sprinkled holy water on them and gave some to Simaubi to drink while others refused.

“As police, we have intensified our search for this clergyman and we are appealing to the general members who may know where this pastor is [to alert the police],” said Chikwanda.

The Zambia Youths Association in the Fight against Corruption (ZYAFAC) has challenged the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) to arrest Labour and Social Security Minister Fackson Shamenda for abrogating the Anti- Corruption Act No. 3 of 2012.

ZYAFAC’s call comes in wake of the ACC%u2019s decision not to institute investigations into allegations made by Mr. Shamenda that a Dangote Industries Zambia official attempted to bribe him and did not report the matter to the Police or ACC within 24 hours as stipulated by section 39(1) of the ACC Act NO.3 OF 2012.

ZYAFAC Executive Director Rickson Kanema has told QFM News in a telephone interview that Mr. Shamenda being a Public Officers is aware that he was supposed to report the matter to relevant authorities within 24 hours for effective investigations.

Mr. Kanema says it is disappointing to learn that even Cabinet Ministers seem not to be aware of the procedure of reporting corrupt practices to the ACC when they should be the ones to edify the people about such issues.

And Mr. Kanema says calls to have the ACC Act revisited are misplaced because the Act is very clear about reporting suspected cases of corruption to ACC or Police within 24 hours.

He says it is for this reason that his organization is calling for the arrest of Mr. Shamenda for not reporting the alleged bribe with 24 hours to the ACC or Police.

New air strikes have targeted Islamic State (IS) militants in Syria, hitting areas close to the border with Turkey.

Syrian activists reported strikes around the Kurdish town of Kobane, which has been besieged by IS fighters for several days.

Witnesses saw two military aircraft approaching from Turkey but Turkish officials denied its airspace or bases were used in the attack.

The US-led coalition expanded its raids against IS into Syria on Monday.

But the aerial bombardment near Kobane, which happened at about 01:00 local time (22:00 GMT), has not been confirmed by the US or any coalition member.

Turkish military sources said neither its air force nor the US airbase at Incirlik in southern Turkey had been used.

The ruling Patriotic Front in Mandevu constituency says President Michael Sata’s commitment to work amidst calls for him to step down on grounds of alleged poor health shows that he has a heart to develop the country.
PF Mandevu Constituency Chairman Moses Makasa has told QFM News in an interview that people should appreciate the courage and commitment the Head of State has exhibited even in his alleged poor health state.

Mr. Makasa has likened late former Republican President Levy Patrick Mwanawasa to Sata who had a heart to develop the nation and died serving the nation.

He says some opposition political parties calling for the resignation of President Sata on health grounds, are doing so with selfish motives.

He says the opposition wants President Sata to step down so that they can have a chance to go to State House.

Mr. Makasa adds that opposition political parties are seeing nothing good in the PF because of their obsession for power.

He says President Sata has lost weight because he is thinking too much on how best he will transform the lives of the Zambian people.

Mr Makasa has since urged all senior government officials to emulate President Sata by working hard even when they are not feeling too well.

GODLY COUNSEL with EVANGELIST KATAI
Hi Pastor,
I am a Fourth year student in the school of law, dating someone who is HIV+. We have dated for four years and I love her so much and I want to marry her. The problem is how do I tell my parents that she is HIV+? She has been there since that day and told me her status before we started dating. Please help me pastor.
ANS: Brother thanks for your text. HEALTH matters are usually very personal, couples often wait for a certain period before they disclose a pregnancy. You have been aware of your partner’s HIV status for quite some time and I believe you have received counselling and are aware of the various methods that can be used to protect yourself from HIV infection. If not, you can call 990 for advice from any phone network.
My personal belief is that the HIV status of your partner need not be a talking point of your planned union. Your family will instantly react with fear – which is understandable and nobody would want to see their child or sibling enter into a difficult situation. However, I can understand and respect your wish to share this information with your family. I would advise you to speak with a trusted elder first, and get their advice on to how to proceed.  Blessings!
