Do you know that u don’t have to go for surgery to get rid of these tags.
Here are home remedies to it.

Skin tags are caused due to the accumulation of blood vessels and collagen in the thicker parts of the skin. Scientifically, skin tags are called as achrochordon.

These fleshy outgrowths are very small in size and appear deformed in shape. They usually occur on eyelids, neck, arms, lower part of the breast, and armpits. Skin tags can occur both in men and women. Instead of rushing to the doctor, skin tags can be easily removed at home by trying out some simple home remedies.

Apple Cider Vinegar

This is one of the best home remedies for skin tags on the neck. Soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and apply it over the skin tag. Use this remedy for about a month for complete removal of skin tag.

Castor Oil

Mix a little castor oil with baking powder to form a paste. It can be very sticky. Keep repeating the process for two to four weeks, and you will notice the skin tag disappearing slowly.

Pineapple Juice

This is one of the simplest ways to remove skin tags on skin. Apply pineapple juice every day at least 2-3 times, but don’t rinse it off. Repeat it for at least 10 days, until the skin tag is completely scraped off. Pineapple juice is also known to work on moles and warts.

Duct Tape

Stick a piece of duct tape to the skin tag for a continuous period of 10-12 days until the skin tag is completely removed. This is an effective home remedy to get rid of skin tags.

Onion Juice

Cut an onion, and leave it overnight in a vessel containing some salt. Extract the juice from it, the next morning. Apply this juice every night on the skin tag for at least 10-12 days. It will completely remove the tag.

Banana Peel

A banana peel also seems effective to remove skin tag. Cut a small piece of banana peel and place the inside part of it over the skin tag. Cover it firmly with gauze, and leave it overnight. Repeat this remedy daily until the skin tags fall off.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is one of the best natural methods for skin tag removal at home. Soak a cotton ball in water and then, put at least 2-3 drops of tea tree oil on it. Now, lightly rub it over the skin tag in circular motions. Repeat this daily at least twice a day for about a week until the skin tag completely vanishes.

Nail Polish

Nail polish is also a good way for removing skin tags at home. Apply nail polish over the area. Let it set and dry, then remove it. Repeat the process 3 times a day for a few days until you see visible results.

Do have a swell weekend all and stay blessed!

So Who Is This Dimitrios Monokandilos Who Tried To Steal Atlas Mara Assets?

A Reflection of Atlas Mara’s Date with the Bailiffs

The news of the Bailiffs having pounced on Atlas Mara yesterday was received with a sense of shock and panic by the general public. News carried out indicated that a white man was claiming that the Bank owed him money for 23 years now. Atlas Mara subsequently issued a statement and disclosed the name of the white man as Dimitrios Monokandilos. A stay of execution of Judgment was obtained by Atlas Mara and the goods that were wrongly seized have since been ordered to be returned by the Court pending the outcome of the case in the Court of Appeal. By press time, normal operations had resumed at the Bank.

23 years being a long time, this caught our attention and we decided go back into history and research in order to establish what really happened

In September 1995 after a poor harvest of maize, the Government of Zambia through the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries established a Maize Import credit Scheme to fund the importation of maize into the country which was administered by the Bank of Zambia and Commercial Banks. Dimitrios Monokandilos and his business partner Kosmas Mastrokolias approached Finance Bank Zambia Ltd to assist them with a credit facility of about $2.1million to enable them import about 10,000 Metric Tonnes of maize from Tanzania. They used their 2 companies, namely, LM Comert International Ltd which was an offshore company as the recipient of the money for the delivery of the maize, and International Investments & Finance Ltd as the local company borrowing. They signed Personal Guarantees as part of the security for the borrowing. Mr. Monokandilos also opened a joint US Dollar account and deposited money in it as part of the security for the borrowing since his company did not have tangible securities.

Finance Bank then paid Dimitri Monokandilos about $2.1 million dollars for him to bring the maize into the country. The maize was expected to arrive in Zambia on 31st March 1996 and it had also formed part of the security for the borrowing. However, this has never happened to date. The maize did not come into the country and the money was never paid back. This prompted Finance Bank to exercise its right of set-off against Dimitrios Monokandilos’ account on the strength of the Personal Guarantee to recover part of the money which was due. The company was also placed under Receivership, but no recovery was made as it had no money. A Summary Judgment was subsequently entered in favour of Finance Bank for about $2.1 million, and this has never been paid by Dimitrios Monokandilos or his company to date.

Meanwhile, in June 1996 a Congolese company called Generale des Carrieres Et Des Mines which also had dealings with Dimitrios Monokandilos said at Kalymnos, Greece through a Greek newspaper called Argo as well as to various other national daily newspapers and to the Government of Zambia, where Monokandilos had business interests, that Dimitrios Monokandilos was involved in smuggling large amounts of cobalt into Greece with the intention of forwarding the radioactive cobalt to Romania or Bulgaria for the latter’s use in medical care.

It was further reported that Dimitrios Monokandilos had stolen the cobalt from Generale des Carrieres Et Des Mines in Zambia and that he intended forwarding it to the Libyan Government for that country’s use in its nuclear arms development programme.

The public in general, including the Greek and Zambian Governments were informed that Dimitrios Monokandilos was involved in illegal activities. The Zambian Government declared Dimitrios Monokandilos and his business partner Kosmas Mastrokolias illegal immigrants. By Gazette Notices No. 313 and 314 of 1998 published in the Government Gazette dated 10th July 1998, and as reported in the newspapers then, Dimitrios Monokandilos and Kosmas Mastrokolias were deported from Zambia on grounds that they were a danger to good order and peace. In Greece, the Greek Government withdrew its subsidies to the companies in which Mr. Dimitrios Monokandilos held shares.

Further, Generale des Carrieres Et Des Mines laid charges of embezzlement and fraud against Dimitrios Monokandilos with the Police in Athens. The charges also related to the allegations that Dimitrios Monokandilos had smuggled cobalt into Greece and that it was earmarked for illegal use. Dimitrios Monokandilos was kept in custody for 28 days and subsequently went on trial.

However, sometime around 2011, Dimitrios Monokandilos returned into Zambia and commenced an action in Court against Finance Bank for the money relating to his personal account, whilst still owing money to the Bank and delivery of maize in Zambia through his companies. On 29th March 2018 the High Court ruled in his favour in relation to his personal account despite the Personal Guaratee. The Bank appealed to the Court of Appeal against the said Judgment. The Court of Appeal is yet to deliver its Judgment.

Statement On Why Opposition Is A National Disaster In Zambia

September 20, 2019

The Opposition in Zambian is a national disaster as some of them have lamentably failed to provide checks and balances to Government.

Suffice to mention that some opposition parties have abandoned their critical role by assuming they ‘re the ones in the driving seat when in fact not.

One typical example is that of UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema who recently ‘declared’ hunger situation in the country as a national disaster when he does not wield such powers.

However, the Zambian constitution vests powers to make such declarations in the Republican President who is Edgar Chagwa Lungu, and not Hichilema.

We advise the opposition leaders in the country to desist from engaging in activities that are tantamount to usurping powers of the Republican President.

We are alive to President Lungu’s directive to Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit (DMMU) that no Zambian should die from hunger.

Indeed, the DMMU has been distributing food relief to hunger –hit areas in all parts of the country in line with the presidential directive.

Whilst citizens are welcome to make donations towards mitigating hunger situation in the country, we expect them to work in collaboration with the DMMU.

However, we have noted with dismay that some donations made by a known opposition leader recently in Lusaka were meant to gain cheap political mileage, and not out of concern for the hunger-stricken people.

In view of the foregoing, it is abundantly clear that the opposition in Zambia is a national disaster.

Zambian Man Who Called Lungu ‘Chikala’ Jailed 2 Years

A 68-YEAROLD man of Lusaka has been sentenced to two years imprisonment for defaming President Edgar Lungu. Delivering the verdict yesterday, Magistrate Faides Hamaundu said she is concerned about the worsening trend of people insulting the head of State.

Before the sentence was passed, Justin Chikonde pleaded with Lusaka Magistrate Hamaundu not to impose a custodial sentence on him on account of old age. But Magistrate Hamaundu said a custodial sentence was necessary because the habit of defaming the President is becoming common in the country. This is in a case Chikonde, who is ADEDO Party president, was charged with defamation of the President.

On November 3 last year in Lusaka, with intent to bring the President’s name into ridicule, Chikonde published defamatory words against President Lungu. Chikonde was captured in a video which went viral on social media in which he uttered unprintables against the head of State. He was later arrested and taken to court where he denied having defamed the President.

During trial, Chikonde said he never knew anything about the defamation allegations. He claimed that neither the complainant in the matter nor the person who shot the video testified against him

Chikonde claimed that he was not the person in the video but that he only had same names with the man in the clip. He also argued that the words uttered in the video were not insults when interpreted in Bemba. But when the matter came up for sentencing yesterday, Magistrate Hamaundu convicted Chikonde of the defamation charge. She said the prosecution proved the case against Chikonde beyond reasonable doubt and that his defence was not believable.

And after hearing his mitigation, the magistrate said she would exercise leniency on Chikonde. “I will take into consideration that the convict is a first offender and deserves leniency, and also take into account that he is in his old age.

“But I take into account that the bad habit of defaming the President has become common,” Magistrate Hamaundu said and jailed Chikonde. Meanwhile, a student who has been taken to court for allegedly defaming Legana Investment Limited has raised preliminary issues in the case. Luyando Kopakopa wants the court to determine if Legana Investment Limited was competent to sue her and her lover for defamation when it should have joined in the earlier proceedings against the duo.

This is in a case Legana Investment Limited has sued Kopakopa and Eric Ng’andu claiming damages for defamation, barely a week after the latter sued the meat company for allegedly suffering nausea after consuming its meat products.

Ambition never comes to an end, insists Dr Kenneth Kaunda, as he pays special tribute to Texila American University(TAU) for awarding scholarships to deserving students.

And Texila American University says it recognizes the growing need for quality education to be accessible to all.

Meanwhile, Dr Kaunda told scholarship recipients that the opportunity that has been granted to them has comes at a huge cost and the finest way to pay back is by getting into the industry and change the world.

Dr Kumar Poddar

Texila American University has continued to award deserving student scholarships in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Health Professions Foundation Program, Business Administration and Public Health.

The Second Annual TAU Scholarship Award Ceremony dubbed Kenneth Kaunda Scholarship   benefited a total of 25 Zambians who applied to study in various courses at TAU and is worth around 1.5 Million Kwacha.

Journalists and student listen attentively as scholarship award ceremony proceed

On the momentous occasion, the first Zambian leader who spoke through his fourth son, Tilyenji said the importance of the health-care industry can not be overemphasized, saying the demand for quality health-care can not be ignored

“You will agree with me that there is a great need for well trained and competent people in the health-care industry. The demand for quality health-care can not be ignored, now more than ever. That is simply because we all depend on it. Lives are saved from the most complicated illnesses because people are working tirelessly to do necessary research and to ensure that every citizen gets equal opportunities to health-care facilities and access to medication and medical personnel,” Dr Kaunda said.

He said with population growth and technological advancements, it’s necessary for the nation to have driven and ambitious young people putting in all their effort in seeing to it that Zambia, and Africa in general, gets the best personnel.

“… That means people with a heart of service. It is no secret that we still have a long way to go as a nation to get to our intended patient-doctor ratio. But if you all decide on individual basis to do your very best, in your own way, you will make a tremendous difference. Each one of you has a role to play in your communities, whether you believe that or not. If you do not, you can start now,” Dr Kaunda said.

He added: “Ambition never comes to an end, and we sincerely hope this is only the beginning of an industrial revolution that will see this country and continent achieve great things that will bring massive transformation in health-care and all other facets of life.

Dr Kaunda urged scholarship recipient to repay the university with hard work, because the opportunity given to them had  come at a cost.

“I sincerely believe that this scholarship is will aid your journey towards what could be the greatest and most life-changing times in your life. This opportunity that has been granted to you has come at a huge cost and the finest way to pay back is to get into the industry and change the world! We believe in you and we know you will not let us down,” the first Zambian leader said.

Dr Kaunda said his vision for “education for all” is being realized through the scholarship award offered by Texila American University.

“KK’s vision for education for all is being realized through this scholarship and the best ‘thank you” you can give is to grab the opportunity and run with it with so much vigor and ambition. Do not stop at anything. Let your goals be so clear that you will not stop at anything till you achieve them. I will say it again, “Ambition never comes to an end,” Dr Kaunda who is a school teacher by profession said.

He concluded by encouraging Texila to continue to give back to the Zambian community through more of such gestures.

“…And to the recipients, we believe in you and your abilities. I encourage you to work hard and bring the change you want to see in this nation and society in general,” he said.

And Textila American University Registrar, Dr Vijay Kumar who earlier Spoke on behalf of Prof Ajay Kumar Poddar maintained the university’s aim to redefine and revolutionize international education by offering updated, modern and excellent training in areas of Health Sciences, Information and Communication Technology, Management, Education, Applied Science and all possible that a learner seeks to engage with TAU.

He said it is TAU’s vision to high quality, research driven education that transforms students into responsible, educated, employable and entrepreneur citizens.

“Our main goal to make sure that when you are done with your studies, ready to take your steps in an exciting and rewarding career,” Prof Poddar said, adding: “As Texila American University, we recognize the growing need for quality education to be accessible to all. These young ladies and gentlemen you see here are the future of this nation, continent and the world as a whole. Quality education should not be far fetched for them. It is for this reason we initiated scholarship plan for which we have received overwhelming response from students and parents. It has been extremely difficult for us to select and declare scholarships to only few students because students who had applied for the scholarship seemed equally deserving. The response is proof of the deep hunger that this generation has to be equipped for life,” he said.

Prof Poddar showered praises on Dr Kaunda for being passionate about quality education.

“As TAU, we saw it fit to honor him(Dr Kaunda) and his contribution to the education sector,”

Under Whose Authority Was DFID Acting Under When It Release Relief Food For Zambia?

Their is a very dangerous western cartel working around the clock to undermine the Zambian governing powers.

HH recently declared hunger a national disaster

UK recently released relief food days after Hakainde decision to declare hunger a national emergency despite the government repeatedly assuring the nation that the situation was under control and the current stock was enough to cover for the drought affected areas too until the next harvest.

This comes days after Hakainde was pictured distributing bags of mealie meal in Bauleni, an area that hasn’t been directly affected by droughts and an area that has more than enough food inclusive of mealie meal.

Before Hakaindes childish hunger crisis proclamations, the man went on top of every ant hill claiming the government has been distributing maize bran in the affected areas, obviously doing so to market himself to foreign powers.

DFIDs relief food to Zambia appears very timely and shocking all together looking at how an NGO headed by the united kindom can quickly heed to a mere desperate citizens call of a hunger crisis in Zambia and choosing to ignore the governing authority of that very nation

is it not the very kingdom that has been publishing African confidential articles articulating rubbish about Zambia and Africa as a whole?

Is it not clear enough that these kingdoms want to grasp power in Africa by any means necessary, even if it means planting puppets like Hakainde to discredit the government.

Be warned, the day this man will be ushered in, will be the day Zambia will be sold
From Rev Dr Cozmo C K Mumba. President of National Revolution Party published by Ms Chibale Kalaba Special Assistant for Press and Public Relations

‘Teaching Council Has Failed…’

I don’t know what others feel about what is happening in the ministry of education. But as for me, I feel devastated and pity for myself and other colleagues who are still chancing for employment in government.
I think the Teaching Services Commissioner (TSC) together with the Teaching council of Zambia (TCZ) have made our lives so difficult and miserable with the new policies that they are just introducing anyhow.
In the previous general recruitment of teachers, they made us fail to try our lucky because we thought only those who graduated 2015 and before where eligible to apply. But to our supprise even those who graduated in 2018 appeared in the daily mail papers.
Am so disappointed with the TSC because i have not seen anything better or sanity that they have brought in the recruitment of teachers apart from making it difficult for the number of things and money that they are demanding from the vunerable teachers.
I really wonder if these people (TCZ) and (TSC) do think about the economic status of their unemployed teachers and the costs that these teachers encounter just to do the registration for TCZ certificate. What is their role (TCZ) in the screening and verification of results, if individual teachers are doing everything for themselves? And why should teachers continue paying the same amounts to TCZ when individual teachers are paying ECZ and their Universities for the verifications of their certificates?
Can the TSC and TCZ just tell the public that they have failed to give people jobs unlike asking for so many things and increasing the costs for them.
Some people are travelling long distances as far as from chienge coming to lusaka. Now if you put together the costs of transports to and fro K700, lodging K500, food K300, and then K100 ECZ, K50 for the university, K600 TCZ and other local bus fairs In lusaka. This is just too much for someone who just graduated. Worse enough, after doing all this, there is no guarantee for a job to someone.

Loti Mumba recently had his house demolished, but is smiling again after winning K67,147.70 from a K5 bet with betPawa.

Seven of the Zambian security guard’s nine selections had odds of 3.10 or bigger, so his bet had odds of 10330.65. This meant he won K51,648.23 plus a 30% win bonus for picking nine legs.

betPawa offer the best win bonus in Zambia for all bets with three legs or more, including 250% for bets with 30 legs.

Loti said: “This win is one of a kind. It’s unbelievable. You have no idea about the trauma I have been subjected to. I pinch myself every morning to make sure this is real.

“My house was demolished and that was so devastating. You know how expensive it is to build in Zambia. Anyway, that is not important now. I have started building again and bought myself a small car. I am a winner.”

Loti’s message to the people

The Solwezi resident added: “I first heard about betPawa on radio and that it was only K1 to bet but I didn’t believe it, so I decided to try it out.

“I won a couple of times. That is when I believed that I could win. This win is marvellous. Waking up to find my whole betslip green, gosh.”

Asked for his message to the masses, he added: “Don’t just dream it but play it. You can only win when you try. The win bonus is true, you get paid out on time and I got all my money. It is easy to use the interface.

“betPawa cares for people. Look at me now, I am back! betPawa is a big company everyone should trust. All the people at the bus stations are talking about them.”

Tanzania has said it has no suspected or confirmed cases.

The latest outbreak has killed more than 2,000 in eastern DR Congo, with Uganda battling to stop any spread.
